Oreel & innovation
Innovation is one of Oreel’s pillars. Only through innovation will we remain relevant for generations. For example, we have specialized in robotic laser welding; a technique with which we achieve speeds of 10 centimeters per second and can also create complex shapes without any problems. A good example of this are the disposal points for underground waste collection. Previously, their production was a laborious process and the insertion points did not have a long service life.
Together with our customer, a major producer of waste containers, we developed a new production method for these throw-in points. Now we deliver large quantities of technically high quality in a short time. Every week in Hallum, 100 to 150 insertion points roll off the line and are used throughout Europe.
In addition to developing innovative production techniques, we also implement innovations in the rest of the company. Robotization and digitization play a major role in this. The factory has been working paperless for years and the loading and unloading of products is fully automated. For example, at Oreel we always work on a company that meets the most modern standards.
