Our philosophy of supply is that complete supply is also a specialism: offering a one-stop-shop situation for outsourcers as much as possible. Even though 90% of all sheet metal parts are smaller than 3 meters, the trend is that designs are increasingly being constructed from one (XXL) piece. And therefore we expect that there will be a growing demand for parts of 4 meters and longer.
XXL Laser cutting
We have had a laser cutter with a range of 4 × 2 meters for years. Since May 2014, an LVD 6KW laser cutter has been added with a range of no less than 12 × 3 meters with switch table. Of course, a plate up to 12 meters can be cut on this, but also 4x 6 by 1.5 meters per table or 8x 3 by 1.5 meters of plate. With this disguised automation, where both cutting tables can be filled with smaller sizes, it gives the machine a flexible interpretation for the customer’s demand at that time.
